This product is a revolution! Hands down best filter on the market! It is a two part filter system, comes with two inter changeable cartridges.
The top ‘Ceramic’ cartridge can filter 50 still batches, or 500 litres before needing replacement! the bottom ‘Carbon’ cartridge can do 5-6 still batches, or 50-60Litres before replacement if using Turbo Yeast,
However if you are using Essencia Super 6 (the cleanest yeast on the market) you can put 8-9 still batches, or 80-90Litres through it before needing replacement!!

[IMPORTANT: Filter speed is not determined by the tightness of the cartridges so only screw the cartridges up finger tight, over tightening can cause filters to crack. As soon as the orange rubber in the lower carbon cartridge touches (between the bucket and the cartridge) it is sufficiently tight.
