Mine was my last wash, used 9kg dex - SS Classic yeast and filled it up to about 26L. I left it for 3 weeks and 2 days and it took me around 4 hours in the still and the end result was just over 11L at 40%. The only thing different I did this time was leave it an extra week to clear.. also at the end when the temp rose (thats when i know it is over) i just turned up the tape flow and got an extra half an hour or so, could have gottn a little bit more but it was to annoying to adjust the tap all the time. Only collected when temps where between 78 and 82 deg.

I am wondering where I should be buying my brew equipment in Western Australia (cheapest store). Hopeing to get an Essencia Still, EZ Filter, 60 litre fermentation tank, heater pad, couple of those 5 litre glass bottles to store my alcohol in.
Now before I spend a lot of money and wing it on my first batch.

How long will it take to ferment a 60 litre mix up? I only as because I see people talking about 48 hours and others telling me 2 weeks?

And also how long does it take to put this distilled alcohol through the EZ filter.
My basic plan was turbo yeast + nutrient and sugar (I dont really know what else to chuck in).
Never done any home brewing before but I am going to have a slash as soon as I know a bit more about it.

Thanks for taking the time to help me out.
